FAQ

What are the OCI photo requirements?

Square, at least 51 × 51 mm, JPEG 200×200 to 900×900 px, max 200 KB, on a plain light-coloured background that is not white, without a border (OCI Services FAQ).

Why not a white background?

The OCI FAQ asks for a light-coloured background and says it should not be white.

Can I print OCI photos on a 4×6 sheet?

Yes. The print version is 603×603 px at 300 DPI (51.05 mm square, rounded up so it is never smaller than the 51 mm minimum). Because 51 mm is slightly wider than 2 inches, only 2 fit on a 4×6 inch sheet (one column of two).

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.
